The red church “St. Trinity” near the village of Borovitsa is unique for the fact that it was built with material from the surrounding red rocks. It was constructed by Italian masters shortly before the Liberation of Bulgaria and originally functioned as monastery.
The church is located 1.5 km by dirt road from the village of Borovitsa, easily accessible by jeep, bicycle or on foot.
Only 500 meters from it stands Borov Kamak – the highest rock in the Belogradchik region. The area is extremely beautiful, and the rock landscape is very spectacular and impressive.
