Welcome to Orlova Chuka cave!
Orlova Chuka cave is located 40 km from Rousse, near the village of Pepelina. The cave was discovered in 1941 by a shepherd who grazed his flock in the area. Its name comes from the rock crown that stands above the entrance.
Around 3 km from the cave are accessible for the visitors and have lighting. From the artificial entrance of Orlova Chuka you can enter the first cave hall. It is called “The Concert Hall” because of its good acoustics concerts are often performed there, and every year in August, during the Cave Fair there is also celebration concert held in the hall.
Here you can find many interesting formations – “The Great Stalactite”, “The Dinosaur”, “The Eagle Owl”, “The Turtle”.
The cave is open to visitors from April to October, and you can buy information materials and souvenirs on site.
