Welcome to the Dobridolski monastery “Holy Trinity“!
The Dobridolski Monastery is situated near the village of Dobridol, at 22 km from the town of Lom. The monastery is situated in a picturesque area of a deep valley, covered with dense and varied vegetation and inhabited by a rich variety of animals.
The holy abode was founded in the Middle Ages, and at the end of the XVIIIth century it was burned and later rebuilt by the hieromonk Benedictus.
The monastery complex represents a combination of congregational church, chapel and residential buildings. The monastery’s temple “Holy Trinity” is a rare phenomenon in Bulgarian Renaissance cult architecture and art.
At present, the Dobridolski monastery is a spiritual center not only for the Vidin diocese but also for the whole country.
