Welcome to Venetsa Cave!
Venetsa Cave is located near the village of Oreshets, Vidin district. This is one of the most beautiful caves in Bulgaria extremely rich in cave forms. Its total length is only 200 meters, with 5 cave halls open for a visit, which can be viewed in about an hour. The cave is accessible all year round without special equipment. Here you will find a visitor center and a convenient car parking.
Venetsa cave was discovered by accident during the opening of a nearby quarry in the 1970s. It is declared a natural landmark, and at present it is included in many tourist routes.
