The “Boianu” ethnography museum in Stoicanesti was opened in 2008 and holds exhibitions of local history and traditions. The “Holy Emperors” Church also located here, is built in 1898 and painted by Gheorghe Tattarescu. The ruins of the old church built in 1820 are still seen just behind it.
