The National Theatre of Caracal
About this sight
An imposing architectural building is located in the historical centre of Caracal – the National Theatre. It is named after the great Romanian actor Stefan Iordache.
The founding stone of the theatre was laid in 1896, designed by the Austrian architect Franz Bileck.
